The frame (1) of the chair has a stationary rectangular seat area (2, 6) assembled two longitudinally (8a, 8b) and two transversally positioned bars (8c, 10). Curved extensions (9) are attached to the rear of each of the lateral bars (8a, 8b) joined with bolts serving as rotation axles to the lateral segments of the frame of the backrest (3). The frame of the backrest (3) can be also provided with swivel joints (11a, 11b) for adjusting the level of inclination of a headrest (12).
