<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a dye-sensitized solar cell having high power generation efficiency and high handling ability by appropriate stiffness, and to provide the dye-sensitized solar cell having this electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode 10 for the dye-sensitized solar cell has a base film formed by laminating a heat resistant polymer film 11 and a fluororesin film 16 as a general-purpose film and sticking them with an adhesive, a mesh-like auxiliary electrode 12 formed on the base film, a transparent electrode film 13, and a dye-absorption semiconductor film 14.
