PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double-layered capacitor, equipped with a pair of polarizing electrodes (1) and (2) opposite placed across a separator (3), an electrolyte impregnated into the pair of electrodes (1) and (2) and the separator (3), an outer packaging case (4b) and an outer lid (4a) for receiving the separator (3), the pair of electrodes (1) and (2), and the electrolyte, and a gasket (7) provided between the inner peripheral part (41b) of the outer packaging case (4b) and the outer peripheral part (40a) of the outer lid (4a) for hermetically sealing a storage space constituted of the outer packaging case (4b) and the outer lid (4a), by bending an opening tip (42b) of the case (4b) toward the inside, which dispenses with a fold (41a) provided on the outer peripheral part (40a) of the outer lid (4a) and is high capacity and in sealability.
