PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication terminal equipment for allowing the reproduction timings of an image and voice to be coincident by the processing of only transmission or reception side terminal equipment even when image data are retransmitted. SOLUTION: In image communication terminal equipment 100, a delay control part 115 holds voice data for a time which is obtained by adding a time till image data are stored in a data storage buffer 103 to the reproduction delay time of voice data so as to perform transmission to a voice control part 111. Thus, voice is synchronized with the image, so that reproduction is smoothly conducted. The previously stored image data are successively transmitted to the image control part 106, while retransmission data are received after performing a retransmission request to the image communication terminal equipment of a communication opposite party in the case of receiving abnormality data.
