PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device capable of stably sustaining a required operation feeling over a long period and having excellent durability. SOLUTION: This switch is provided with a case 1 and a first rotation member 6 rotatably held to the case 1. A first cam part 4 comprising two sets of or totally eight cam ridges 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4a', 4b', 4c' and 4d' is formed on a collar part 52 of the first rotation member 6. The cam ridges 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d and the cam ridges 4a', 4b', 4c' and 4d' are formed at point-symmetrical positions and shapes with respect to a center axis O of a shaft part 51. The case 1 is equipped with two driving rods 14 and 15 at point-symmetrical positions with respect to the center axis O, and tip parts of the driving rods 14 and 15 are respectively brought into elastic contact with the cam ridges of the respective sets.
