PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate ununiformity of temperature distribution and current distribution in the region of cell and picture element inside the element of an organic light emitting device. SOLUTION: In the cell or picture element of an organic light emitting device, the dielectric insulating film is formed in patterns and the width of the patterns is changed from the center part toward the peripheral part, thereby uniform temperature distribution and current distribution are achieved.
