PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomizing apparatus for a bathroom miniaturizable, deodorizable and preventing the formation of mold by discharging nano-sized charged particle water into the bathroom in the attached state of an electric discharge unit while being safe even if touching a feed side terminal or a ground side terminal with the finger in the detached state of the electric discharge unit. SOLUTION: In this electrostatic atomizing apparatus for the bathroom, a body case 11 having a high voltage generating part 40 disposed in the bathroom 1 is provided with an electric discharge unit attaching part 15. The electric discharge unit 14 is detachably attached to the electric discharge unit attaching part 15 having a liquid sump part 24, and electrode side terminals 28, 29 are brought into contact with the feed side terminal 19 and ground side terminal 20. An attachment/detachment recognizing part 60 is provided for recognizing the attached/detached state of the electric discharge unit 14, and supplying high voltage from the high voltage generating part 40 in the attached state of the electric discharge unit 14 while stopping the supply of high voltage from the high voltage generating part 40 in the detached state of the electric discharge unit 14.
