PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas/hydraulic power converter enabling the flexibility of the design of an accumulation part and the easy reduction in size of a drive part. SOLUTION: This gas/hydraulic power converter for converting a gas pressure into a hydraulic pressure and supplying the hydraulic pressure to an operating machine operating valves installed in a pipeline comprises a hollow cylinder 12 closed at both end parts by covers 181 and 185, a rod 16 supported on the covers coaxially with the center axis of a cylinder, a piston 14 slidably supported on the rod inside the cylinder and formed to receive and discharge a gas on one side of the cylinder and receive and supply a hydraulic pressure on the other side, and a limit switch 19 for starting an oil pump operated by the rod formed by extending to be passed from the covers to the outside. The rod is supported axially movably relative to the covers, and the movement of the rod is performed by a specified length according to the movement of the piston by a gas pressure.
