PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of chipping in a panel-shaped semicured body obtained from the upper part of a block-shaped semicured body in a method for manufacturing the panel-shaped semicured body by horizontally slicing the block-shaped semicured body by a piano wire to form a large-sized ALC panel. SOLUTION: When the block-shaped semicured body 1 becoming the larged-sized autoclaved lightweight concrete panel by autoclave ageing is cut by a plurality of piano wires 4 horizontally stretched so as to provide a predetermined interval up and down to manufacture a plurality of panel-shaped semicured bodies, the piano wires are relatively moved in a horizontal direction from the front end surface side of the block-shaped semicured body to the rear end surface side thereof when the both front and rear end surfaces 11 and 12 of the block-shaped semicured body are pressed by press means 21 and 22 like pushers. Whereupon, the chipping of the panel-shaped semicured body caused on the end surface sides of the block-shaped semicured body in an initial or complete stage, where the block-shaped semicured body is cut, is suppressed.
