PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravity type tilting casting apparatus with which cooling time in cooling a product after pouring molten metal can be shortened and in this way, cycle time of this apparatus can be shortened. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with; one pair of tilting shafts; an tilting shaft driving means connected with one side of the tilting shafts; a die plate disposed between one pair of the tilting shafts; a mold disposed on this die plate; one pair of turning shafts connected with the die plate; a turning frame connected with the turning shafts and rotated with a first turning cylinder; an elevating cylinder connected with the turning frame; a water-supplying cylinder connected with the tip part of the elevating cylinder; a ladle connected with the turning shaft and also, rotated with a second turning cylinder; a product pushing-out mechanism suspended in a lower mold; a cooling water recovering box fitted to the lower part of the die plate; and a product pushing-out cylinder connected with the cooling water recovering box.
