PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the water of a water tank, a bath or the like is sterilized by chlorine up to now, and in such a case it is necessary to manage the concentration of chlorine, the cost of equipment is expensive and chlorine exerts a bad influence on the human body, promotes the corrosion of piping and changes the quality of the water. SOLUTION: A sterilization line mixer by a photocatalyst is used which is composed of an agitating element manufactured from a photocatalytic metal having two or more sterilization actions and a transparent pipe through which the agitation element can be irradiated with light from the outside and which realizes sterilization by the photocatalyst. By employing sterilization by the photocatalyst, a sterilization is actualized which dispenses with management of the concentration of chlorine, has inexpensive equipment cost, is harmless to the human body and does not cause the corrosion of piping nor changes in the quality of the water.
