The air quality monitor, for firefighters, has a holder for the monitor panel where the panel is suspended on a base plate (A) and fixed by two limits (B) in the firefighting vehicle. When not in use, the holder is swung into a dead space between the rear pump and the shrouding by a hinge and an angle piece (C). The fastening plate (G) at the hinge is secured to the rear wall (H) of the vehicle. When the holder is swung out on the hinge, the pump operating unit (E) can be swung out and rear compartment (F) pulled clear.
