APPARATUS FOR HOLDING AND ANCHORING REFRACTORY CONCRETE TYPE LININGS

An anchor apparatus (10) for refractory concrete type linings is disclosed. The apparatus is used as one of a plurality of anchor apparatus to adhere refractory concrete type linings (12) to a surface of furnace, pipe or the like. The apparatus includes an elongated base portion (13) adapted to be fixed to the surface (11) to which the lining is to be applied. There are provided a plurality of tabs (14) projecting from the base, said tabs being spaced apart along the length of the base portion, said tabs and base portion being adapted to be encased by said lining.
