<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical instrument holding device and a medical instrument holding system with excellent operation performance and operation peripheral environment. <P>SOLUTION: The medical instrument holding device 6 is provided with a holding means 44 for holding a medical instrument 4 and a support means 8 for supporting the holding means 44 so as to move and hold it at a desired position.
