PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying method for a ceramic molding which hardly causes deformation such as bending or torsion of the ceramic molding at drying and is hard to generate a crack at next baking. SOLUTION: The method is drying the ceramic molding which comprises a blend including a ceramics and a heat gelling binder, presents a tubular object having periphery and end surfaces, and is equipped with one or more through-holes opening to the end surface, by hot air.
