SUBSTRATE WITH PHOTOCATALYTIC COATING

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic coating on a substrate showing a significant antifouling function to the substrate and being industrially produced.

SOLUTION: The substrate with the coating is glass, ceramic or glass-ceramic provided on at least part of at least one of its faces with a coating having a photocatalytic property and contains at least a partially crystalline anatase-type titanium oxide. The coating is hydrophilic and it has a contact angle with water of smaller than 5°after exposed with light irradiation. The crystalline titanium oxide forms a crystallite having a mean size of 0.5-60 nm.
