<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a calculation method based on Fourier transform is adopted in order to reconstitute a three-dimensional structure of atomic arrangement in a conventional electronic holography method, but reproduction of the three-dimensional structure from a single wave hologram is difficult in the method. <P>SOLUTION: This method for reconstituting the three-dimensional atomic arrangement from an electronic hologram is described as follows: a sample is irradiated with light or a particle beam to induce a phenomenon wherein electrons are emitted from atoms in the sample by irradiation; the angle, the wavelength and the intensity are measured by an angle resolving electronic analyzer concerning interference between a direct electron wave from the atom emitting the electrons and a scattered electron wave generated by being scattered by atoms existing around the atom emitting the photo-electrons; the three-dimensional arrangement of the atoms is calculated by treating an intensity distribution as the electronic hologram and using the scattered shape tensor of the atoms and a gradient method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
