PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the processing load of a CPU and improve transfer efficiency by reducing communication throughput by omitting processing of a logical connection management section only on condition of AV data transfer. SOLUTION: Upon receiving a data packet, a transmission destination selecting means 14, first, inspects the data length to determine whether or not the data length is not less than 17 bites, and if it is not less than 17 bites, determines that the data packet possibly is AV data and transmits the data packet to a management transmission processor 15 for AV data management section. On the contrary, if the data length is less than 17 bites, the means 14 determines that the packet possibly is data other than the AV data, and transmits the data packet to a transmission processing section 13 for a logical connection management section.
