PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine which directly cools a part which becomes the cause of loss generated. SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine 10 includes a case 1, and a stator 2. The stator 2 has a stator core 21 and a stator coil 22. The stator coil 22 is wound on the stator core 21 and has coil ends 22A, 22B. The case 1 has air vents 11, 12. The air vents 11, 12 are respectively provided in the regions 1A, 1B facing the coil ends 22A, 22B.
