PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push button switch capable of preventing a play of a slider in a projected condition without needing so much the dimensional accuracy of the clearance of a protruding part and a rail for guide. SOLUTION: This push button switch having the slider 1 displaceable between a protruding condition and a sinking condition by a pressing operation, a button 3 engaged with an upper part of the slider 1, a switch case 2, a rail 2a for guide formed in the switch case 2 and the protruding part 1a formed in the slider 1, and turning on/off a prescribed electrical component by the pressing operation to the slider 3, is provided with a rail side top 2aa in a horn shape formed in an upper end face of the rail 2a for guide and a protruding part side top 1aa in a horn shape formed in an upper end face of the protruding part 1a. When the slider 1 in the projected condition, the horn shape of the protruding part side top 1aa is pressure-contacted on the horn shape of the rail side top 2aa. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
