PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freeze-drying sample containing lipoprotein used as the so-called reference sample or a control sample (hereinbelow merely said to be "control sample") at the time of analysis of lipoprotein, especially a freeze-drying sample containing lipoprotein for use in the analysis of lipoprotein using liquid chromatography. SOLUTION: The freeze-drying sample for analysing lipotrotein contains liporotein and 5 wt.% or above of sucrose but contains no serum or blood plasma. Alternatively, the freeze-drying sample for analyzing lipoprotein due to liquid chromatography contains lipoprotein and 5 wt.% or above of sucrose but contains no serum or blood plasma.
