PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a side collision load efficiently to the skeletal structure member of a vehicle body. SOLUTION: A door reinforcement 20 is arranged consecutively between the lower part 14B of a door outer panel 14 making up the outer face of a side door 12 and the lower part 18B of a door trim 18 making up the vehicle room side face of the side door 12. The door reinforcement 20 is located at the position where the reinforcement 20 overlaps a floor cross member 36, which is arranged widthwise on the lower part of the vehicle body, in a side view.
