PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester which is free from antimony, is good in color tone, transparency, and storage stability of viscosity and color tone, and is applicable for various molded products such as films and sheets, apparel fibers, industrial material fibers, coating materials, and adhesives. SOLUTION: The polyester comprises an polyester containing a solid solution which contains mainly an aluminium compound and a magnesium compound, 0.5-5 ppm of an anthraquinone base blue dyestuff (a) and 0.5-5 ppm of a perinone base red dyestuff (b), wherein the dyestuffs (a) and (b) have a ratio (a)/(b) of 1.0-3.0 in content.
