PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for coating a keratin fiber, making it possible that a smooth and uniform make-up result is obtained on the keratin fiber, by giving good adhesion distribution along eyelashes to a fiber contained therein. SOLUTION: This composition for coating the keratin fiber contains microcrystalline wax and the fiber in a cosmetically acceptable medium, wherein the microcrystalline wax has a tack of≥0.7 N×s and, preferably, a hardness of≤3.5 MPa.
