PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic-based heat-resistant member in which the adhesion of the constituent ceramic substrate to the constituent coating layer is improved without detriment to heat isolation properties. SOLUTION: The ceramic-based heat-resistant member 1, which is exposed to an environment involving a heat cycle, comprises a ceramic substrate 11 made from a CMC material and a porous ceramic coating layer 12 coated on the ceramic substrate 11 capable of adhering to the ceramic substrate 11 on the side of the ceramic substrate 11 and having heat isolation properties on the side of a non-ceramic substrate 11.
