PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the washing and drying performance of a laundry washer/dryer, and to achieve excellent functions for the space saving, weight reduction, noise reduction and vibration reduction in the laundry washer/dryer. SOLUTION: A thermoelectric module unit 54 consisting of a thermoelectric module, a radiator 32 and a heat sink 30 is set within a blower circuit of the laundry washer/dryer. As the thermoelectric module unit 54 is used, heat absorbed by the heat sink 30 is collected by the thermoelectric module 51 and radiated again by the radiator 32, so that a larger quantity of heat than the energy inputted to the thermoelectric module 51 can be applied to the clothes 4. As a result, the drying time can be reduced and the energy saving can be achieved. Further, as the thermoelectric module unit 54 is smaller and lighter than a compressor and has no source of noise or vibration, a body of the laundry washer/dryer itself can be smaller and lighter, and the noise and vibration from the laundry washer/dryer can be reduced.
