PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem: a lighter is generally used in conventional smoking, one must carry the lighter and there is a chance to loose the same and air pollution is a problem when using a gas lighter, and the like. SOLUTION: The smoking is done without carrying the lighter such as a box of matches, or a gas lighter. In considering a method causing no trouble of air pollution, a chemical to be an ignition agent, namely a mixture of potassium chlorate, manganese dioxide and sulfur, is adhered to the upper part of the tobacco and a chemical to be a firing agent, namely a mixture of red phosphorus with antimony sulfide, is coated on paper and fixed to the inside of a tobacco housing case. The tobacco is lighted and smoked by lighting the tobacco through friction between the upper part of the tobacco which is the ignition agent and the inside of the tobacco housing case coated with the firing agent.
