PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the point that salt and stains adhered to the line of a reel over the whole length of the line can sufficiently not be removed, and the point that the line is entangled to make the subsequent line-rewinding work difficult, when the line of the reel is extended and washed with water. SOLUTION: This line-washing container is characterized by comprising a bottomed and container-shaped container body 1 in which an empty room 5 for receiving a liquid is formed, a loading plate 10 which is disposed on one side of the container body 1 to load a reel 20 wound with the line 21, and a winding roller 30 which is disposed on the other side of the container body 1 to wind up the line 21 of the reel 20 and whose at least lower portion is immersed in the liquid (w) received in the container body 1, wherein, when the line of the reel 20 is washed, the winding roller 30 is attached to one end of the line 21 of the reel 20 loaded on the loading plate 10 and then rotated to wash the line 21 with the liquid (w) received in the container body 1.
