<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which operates a fuel cell stably and effectively in a low cost structure and gives no excessive load to a separation mechanism of anti-freeze liquid and water. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 10 is provided. Circulation passages 12, 14, 26, 34, 42 for cooling the fuel cell 10 by the cooling water of pure water are provided. A humidifying part 16 for humidifying the reaction gas air supplied to the fuel cell 10 by the cooling water is provided. Only when an operation of the fuel cell 10 is stopped, and further, under a cold temperature environment where freezing of the cooling water is forecast, the cooling water is recovered from the circulation passages and stored in an anti-freeze liquid tank 30. When separation of the cooling water and the anti-freeze liquid is demanded, pure water is separated from the mixed liquid in the anti-freeze liquid tank 30 by a separation film unit 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
