<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel for housing a fuel reformer which effectively suppresses the transfer of heat generated by the fuel reformer to the vessel and hence is high in electric power generation efficiency; and a fuel reforming device having the vessel. <P>SOLUTION: The vessel 11 for housing the fuel reformer is equipped with a base body 1 having a recessed part for housing the fuel reformer 9 of which at least one main face is a glass face, a lid body 4 attached so as to cover the recessed part, a supply pipe 5a which supplies fuel to the fuel reformer 9 and of which the snout is bonded to the glass face of the fuel reformer 9 so as to float and fix the fuel reformer 9 in the space between the lid body 4 and the bottom face of the recessed part, and a discharge pipe 5b which discharges a reformed gas and of which the snout is bonded to the glass face of the fuel reformer 9 so as to float and fix the fuel reformer 9 in the space between the lid body 4 and the bottom face of the recessed part. Both of the supply pipe 5a and the discharge pipe 5b are brazed to a plate member 10 having through-holes anode-bonded to the glass face of the fuel reformer 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
