<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document image verification device capable of preventing alignment accuracy from easily depending on a document content, and of suppressing deterioration of readability of a document. <P>SOLUTION: This document image verification device 10 comprises: an image input part 12 for acquiring a formation result image representing a formation result of a second document image obtained by combining a background image formed by continuously arranging a plurality of kinds of unit images having the same area with a first document image; a verification reference creation part 14 for creating one or more reference positions in the formation result image based on the background image shown in the formation result image; and an image verification part 16 for comparing and checking the formation result image with/against the first document image based on the one or more reference positions created by the verification reference position creation part 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
