SOLUTION: An authentication service providing device has an authentication service providing means 60 of providing service regarding authentication corresponding to a service providing means of providing service, and also has an authentication request receiving means (SQ40) of receiving an authentication request from a client 50 using the service provided by the service providing means, an certification information generation means of generating certification information regarding authentication at the authentication request, an authentication response transmitting means (SQ41) of sending the certification information to the client, and an validity confirmation request receiving means (SQ43) of receiving a request to confirm validity of the certification information which includes the certification information sent to the client from another authentication service providing means 70 of providing service regarding authentication.
