摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable organopolysiloxane composition for an optical transmission member for obtaining a hardened product which can be easily microprocessed and has excellent transmittance and appropriately high hardness and flexibility, to provide a flexible optical transmission member comprising an organopolysiloxane hardened product having the above characteristics, and to provide a method for manufacturing the transmission member. SOLUTION: The curable organopolysiloxane composition for an optical transmission member comprises: (A) organopolysiloxane having two or more silicon-coupled alkenyl groups in one molecule; (B) organopolysiloxane or an organic silicon compound having two or more silicon-coupled hydrogen atoms in one molecule; and (C) a catalyst for hydrosilylation. The composition shows≤800 mPa s viscosity,≥90% transmittance after hardened,≥45 type-A durometer hardness and <60 type-D durometer hardness, and its hardened product having 200μm thickness passes the bend test specified by JISK5600-5-1. The flexible optical transmission member comprises a hydrosilylation hardened product of the above (A) and (B).
