PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reproduce various setting items as a digital camera has higher functions. SOLUTION: An operation member of the digital camera 1 which stores setting information is operated to store setting information on a removable storage medium. When copying to a removable storage medium is performed in a digital camera 2 as a copying destination, it is determined whether the digital camera 1 and digital camera 2 are of the same type, and the setting information which can be copied is displayed to let a user make choices, thereby easily copying various setting items.
