PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an OFDM signal receiving apparatus which eliminates the influence of the signal level of a broadcasting station other than a selected station, and which can perform appropriate gain control. SOLUTION: A signal outputted from a tuner unit 100 is sequentially converted into a digital signal by an ADC circuit 26, processed in an FFT by an FFT circuit 28, processed in waveform equalization by a transmission line equivalent circuit 30, demodulated by a demodulation circuit 32, and processed in error correction by an error correction circuit 34. Then, the processed result is outputted to a decoding unit 300. The digital signal DS1 of a frequency band corresponding to the channel band of the selected station is outputted from a BPF circuit 36 based on the digital signal outputted from the ADC circuit 26. An RF-AGC control signal S1 is generated by an RF-AGC control circuit 38 based on the digital signal DS1 outputted from the BPF circuit 36, and outputted to an amplifier circuit 12.
