摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiband antenna system with a small-size and a low profile, compatible with multiband, with a stable antenna characteristic at each band and suitable for the configuration of a small-sized wireless unit. SOLUTION: A patch-shaped first antenna electrode 111, a second antenna electrode 112 separated from the first antenna electrode 111 by a gap, and a third antenna electrode 113 separated from the second antenna electrode 112 by a gap are formed on one major side of a dielectric board 115, and a ground electrode 114 is formed to the other major side. A band switching means 132 controls resonance operation adjustment means 123, 126, 129 connected to the antenna electrodes 111, 112, 113, and an antenna switching means 130 according to a band selection signal to connect an antenna element corresponding to the selected frequency band to an input-output port 131 and to switch the resonance operation adjustment means 123, 126, 129 to a corresponding state thereby setting interference among the antenna elements to a state suitable for antenna operations.
