PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a vehicle for emergency which sends out urgent information to acquire a radio channel preferentially. SOLUTION: The intervehicle communication system S has a plurality of wireless communication devices 11a mounted on vehicles 1, and the devices 11a mutually communicate by transmitting data to a radio channel or receiving the data transmitted by the radio channel. When there is a vehicle for emergency 1a which has sent out urgent information in the same wireless communication service area, each of the wireless communication devices 11a reduces transmission frequency of data.
