PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid fuel burner and a marine boiler for burning liquid fuel capable of adjusting combustion without affecting heat efficiency. SOLUTION: In an oil/gas burner 3, an air passage 67 for supplying air for combustion having a chip 37 is provided at an approximately central part of a plurality of injection ports for injecting oil toward a downstream side. A plurality of gas nozzle pipes 61 for forming an area on a downstream side in the furnace where air is thin are provided around an axis in the air passage 67.
