PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil strainer of an engine, suppressing suction of air from an oil suction face. SOLUTION: In the oil strainer of an engine, when an oil outlet pipe 1 is provided, an oil relay pipe 2 is led out of the oil outlet pipe 1, an oil inlet pipe 3 is led out of a lead-out end of the oil inlet pipe 3, and the oil suction part 4 in a shape of a case is attached to a lead-out end of the oil inlet pipe 3, the oil inlet pipe 3 is fitted in an inlet pipe insertion circular hole 4a formed in a peripheral wall of the oil suction part 4, and a bottom face of the oil suction part 4 functions as the oil suction face 4b. When seen from a direction in parallel with an center axis 1a of the oil outlet pipe 1, the oil relay pipe 2 and the oil inlet pipe 3 are directed so that the axis 2a of the oil relay pipe 2 intersects to the axis 3a of the oil inlet pipe 3.
