A domestic fabric is fabricated on a coarse or fine grade lace fabrication machine as Guipure lace or etched lace. Prior to the etching process, certain parts of the lace are coated with an etching fluid resistant liquid. The Guipure or etched lace fibres are at least 50% polyester.
