<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device capable of notifying a user of sound information related to an apparatus used by a user even when it is located at a position distant from the apparatus and of further facilitating, by the sound information, action of the user corresponding to the notified information; and to provide a sound control system and a sound control method. <P>SOLUTION: This server device is so structured that positional information of a user and an apparatus used by the user is acquired; and a sound signal is generated based on the positional information so that notification information from the apparatus is audible by the user as sound from the direction in which the apparatus is present. Thereby, the notification information of the apparatus can be notified to the user even when the user is present at a position distant from the apparatus to be used, and the action of the user corresponding to the notified information can be facilitated by the notification. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
