<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric surgical operation instrument which includes a flow/pressure regulator, pressure release valve, a gauge, an indicator, a sensor, and a control system adjustable for matching a surgical operation procedure and is adjustable by user's hand and eye. <P>SOLUTION: This electric surgical operation instrument to supply ionized inert gas to an operation location is equipped with a frame with a proximal end part and a distal end part, and distal end part is equipped with a port to generate ionized gas, a receptacle for making a cylinder containing pressurized inert gas inside be seated, an active electrode positioned connected to the distal end part of the frame and connected to the supply source of electrosurgical energy, and at least one actuator to flow the pressurized inert gas to nearby the active electrode from the cylinder to ionize the pressurized inert gas for use at an operation location and to transmit electrosurgical energy to the active electrode from the supply source of the electrosurgical energy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
