<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pH measuring method by which an electrodeposition coating material hardly deposits on a reference electrode and a glass electrode even when a pH sensor is installed in a coating line, and the pH can be measured over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The method for measuring the pH of an electrodeposition coating material includes: a stage where an electrodeposition coating material is moved in piping forming a circulation path together with an electrodeposition tank at a flow velocity of 0.01 to 0.7 m/s; and a stage where a pH sensor comprising a composite electrode in which a reference electrode and a glass electrode are integrated is arranged inside the piping, the pH sensor is brought into contact with the electrodeposition coating material, and the pH of the electrodeposition coating material is measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
