PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inserting device of a terminal with an electric wire in which breakage of the terminal with the electric wire or the like is prevented even if abnormality occurs in the insertion in the case the terminal with the electric wire is finally inserted into a terminal housing room of a connector housing. SOLUTION: In the inserting device of the terminal 1 with the electric wire which is provided with a machine base 6, a terminal grasping part 15 to grasp a terminal part 2 of the terminal 1 with the electric wire, a terminal grasping part advance-retreat means 17 to advance and retreat the terminal grasping part 15, an electric wire grasping part 19 movably installed at the machine base 6 so as to grasp an electric wire part 3 of the terminal 1 with the electric wire, and a load sensor 12 which is installed between the electric wire grasping part 19 and the machine base 6 and which detects terminal insertion reaction force to act on the terminal 1 with the electric wire, and in which the terminal 1 with the electric wire is finally inserted into the terminal housing room 5 of the connector housing 4, when the terminal insertion reaction force to act on the terminal 1 with the electric wire exceeds a limit value, a terminal insertion reaction force moderating means 21 to moderate the terminal insertion reaction force to act on the terminal 1 with the electric wire is installed at the machine base 6.
