PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle map creation device used for a road traffic system. SOLUTION: A vehicle map display has a transmitter 16 for performing PN code modulation so as to identify vehicles with vehicle information including at least positional information of a vehicle and outputting a transmission signal outside from the own vehicle by radio; a receiver 17 for receiving the transmission signal which has been outputted by radio by the transmitter mounted on other vehicle and PN code-modulated for vehicle identification with the vehicle information including, at least, the vehicle information to obtain the vehicle position information on other vehicles by demodulating the transmission signal by using a correlation detection circuit; and processing means 15 and 21 for creating a vehicle travel map displaying positions of other vehicles with respect to the own vehicle.
