PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check whether a POS register is operated in an appropriate state or not. SOLUTION: A POS register management system comprises receiving means for receiving register information from the POS register, managing means for managing the state of the POS register on the basis of the register information, acquiring means for acquiring register state data indicating the state of the POS register from the managing means, storing means for storing the register state data, determining means for determining whether the register state data satisfy predetermined conditions or not, and outputting means for outputting the determination result of the determining means.
