PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a spectrophotometer capable of being enhanced in the measuring precision of a sample without sharply extending a measuring time. SOLUTION: If an analyzing condition file it set in a step 130, the analyzing condition file is read in a step 140 and it is judged in a step 145 whether a correction data file is set. When the correction data file is not set and the condition of a measuring wavelength range is not indicated in a step 150, a base line is corrected according to the measuring wavelength range and a scanning speed in a step 160. When the condition of the measuring wavelength range is not indicated in the step 150, a zero point is corrected in a step 165. Next, the number of a sample container and an injection amount are read in steps 170-190 and the read number of the sample container or the like is transmitted to a spectral diffraction control part and a set to a sampling control means 42 to perform measurement.
