PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth retaining anchor for reducing labor of the whole work, while enhancing economic efficiency, by increasing a fulcrum on a pressure receiving plate while reducing the number of anchor bodies. SOLUTION: This earth retaining anchor is constituted by connecting with one bolt 7 by using a connecting metal fitting 12, by embedding mounting brackets 11 of two places in the vertical direction in a wall body 3. The connecting metal fitting 12 is composed of a branch type universal joint 13 locking on a head part of the bolt 7, an opposed type universal joint 14 connected to a rear part of the respective mounting brackets 11 and two connecting rods 15 interposed between both universal joints. The branch type universal joint 13 has couplers 16 and 17 and an annular member 18 threadably attached to the bolt 7 and the connecting rods 15. A through-hole is respectively bored in the respective couplers 16 and 17, and the annular member 18 is loosely inserted.
