PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a drill holder provided with a vibration mechanism capable of reducing the frequency of maintenance of a machine tool, and also, capable of extending the service lifetime of a machine. SOLUTION: One end side of a spindle 5 with a collet 19, fitted with a drill on the other end side, is inserted to the other end side of a holder body 3 provided with a shank 9, which is attachably/detachably mounted to a main spindle S of the machine tool, on one end side so as to be slidable in the holder shaft direction. The spindle 5 is rotatable together with the holder body 3. An outer sheath body 7 is rotatably provided to the outer peripheral side on the other end of the holder body 3. A rotation stopping means 67, which is engageable with/disengageable from a fixed part L of the machine tool, is secured to the outer peripheral side of the outer sheath body 7. A vibration means 93, which vibrates the spindle 5 in the holder shaft direction with the rotation of the spindle 5, is provided to the inner peripheral side of the outer sheath body 7.
