[PROBLEMS] To provide a method capable of grasping the odor eliminating effect of deodorant by means of images within a short period of time and in a simple and easy manner. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There is provided a method of screening a test article, comprising the step of disposing test subjects in a colored gas atmosphere and sorting a test article out of the test subjects by the use of the removal of color from the colored gas atmosphere as an indicator.
